Chard is considered to be one of the healthiest vegetables available. It was first cultivated by the Romans and is known by a number of common names such as Swiss Chard, Silverbeet and Mangold. It is often used in Mediterranean cooking. While the leaves are always green the chard stalks vary in colour.

This Swiss Chard variety has lovely juicy leaves and a mild distinct flavour. Great for raw consumption or steaming.
