Growing organic Celery in this region isn’t easy and we’ve had a few failed attempts at the beginning. However it really was worth the effort and we’ve been growing Celery now since 2014.
Our Celery is much thinner, less dense and has a very nice mild taste. It is believed that Celery was first cultivated by the ancient Egyptians, however it only became popular in Europe by the late 17th century.
Celery has numerous health benefits. It has blood pressure reducing properties and contains plant hormones that calm and soothe the central nervous system. The leaves are a great source of flavonoid antioxidants zeaxanthin, lutein and beta-carotene, which have antioxidant, cancer-protective and immune-boosting functions.
