Our brown organic fresh onions a full of flavour and have a lovely texture. The entire crop can be eaten.
Onions are among the oldest of vegetables. They are known to have been grown in ancient Egypt more than 5,000 years ago, and it is likely they were eaten before then. The Romans took it with them as the empire extended into northern Europe and by the Middle Ages it had become a staple vegetable all over Europe.
Our Onions are not dried as we don’t intend to store them for long periods of time. All the nutrients are still present and the taste and smell is simply amazing. Not to be missed.
