Lettuce have been cultivated for thousands of years. They were first grown by the ancient Egyptians and were then spread by the Romans into the rest of Europe. Lettuce comes in lots of different colours, shapes and sizes and we are growing a large selection of seasonal varieties all year round.
Lollo Bianco is a light green loose-leaf type of Lettuce. It forms a distinct compact rosette of green fan-shaped leaves with a non-hearting pale green base. The leaves have a crisp, semi-succulent, hardy texture and ruffled tips. The taste is slightly bitter and nutty.
